Alumni and Current Students Take part in Chiba University's Cross-Cultural Design Collaboration

Amirtaher Shirani, Clare Broadbent, Florence Clayton, and Jono Daniels were chosen to take part in Chiba University’s cross-cultural design collaboration last summer.

The two-week long programme involved working with students from around the world to identify the local community’s issues and then design and build small structures, which were presented to the community at a traditional Bon Odori festival. The students then spent a further two weeks exploring Japan, managing to fit in visits to some of Kyoto’s many temples, Hiroshima’s Peace Park and a climb of Mount Fuji!
